Journalism is any type of gossip from the media, some stories are put online- on tv or on radio! You can always look at past news stories! Some stories can be over- exaggerated/ making up stories to get more readers.

15th September 1964- IPC owns it- international publishing corporation.

Who was the first person to send an email and when? The first person to send an email was Ray Tomlinson- 1971

News values are general guidelines or criteria used by media outlets, such as newspapers or broadcast media, to determine how much prominence to give to a story. They are fundamental to understanding news production and the choices that editors and other journalists face when deciding that one piece of information is news while another is not.

What makes a good survey?
The purpose of a survey is to gather information from a range of different people about a certain subject. I also think that they are a good/ valid  method or way of gathering information from  individuals and getting an opinion. The kind of questions that are asked are simple or multiple choice questions.

The are five main question and answer styles: Open, Multiple choice, categorical, interval and ratio.

My exam stress survey:
1. How old are you? 

* 2. How did you revise? 

* 3. how easy do you find it to revise? 1 finding it hard to revise and 5 finding it easy to revise.

* 4. what are your thoughts on exams in general and do you feel under pressure?

* 5. how much time do you spend revising in one day?

* 6. Do you listen to music when revising?

* 7. What made you the most stressed about your exams?

* 8. were you feeling positive throughout the exam period, from a scale of 1-5?

* 9. What is your main ambition in life?

* 10. Last question, what advice would you give to students throughout the exam process?

It has come to that time of year when the pressure soon builds up throughout schools and colleges and what better way to raise awareness and attempt to help the students. It states on the young minds website that there are over 5 reasons in which students can become stressed or anxious during the exam period.
