Photography- Assignment One
Task A
Task B
For this task I have added a range of photos which will demonstrate four different types of photography, these include: Portrait, landscape, event and nature.
The first two photos that are shown were taken in the style of portrait, purely from my iPhone using natural lighting, to allow you to get the best lighting face the object or person opposite the sunlight giving a natural glow to the face and making the quality of the image much nicer.
Moving onto Landscape photography, this type of photography can be easily taken, again, these images were also taken in an iPhone 6. Good lighting and nice scenery is two of the main things you need to look out for in order to take a decent landscape image. The top image clearly is shown looking brighter than the one below, this is because the top image includes brighter scenery and uses natural lighting whereas the one below is shown having much duller lighting. Both photos were taken on my camping holiday in Selsey last year. The third image was also taken on an iPhone but using the burst mode, this photo was taken on holiday in Bulgaria late 2014.
Event photography is purely images taken at certain events, could be historical or could be a music event. The first image was taken on a digital camera and the second image was taken on an iPhone 6.
Photography report
From researching different types of photography I have leant how and when they can be used for specific magazine articles or on social media. In this report I will be discussing different types of photography and how they are used throughout different industries whether it be in a magazine, newspaper or online/ personal use. I will also discuss how each method or type of photography is taken and the purpose of the images taking into account the use of lighting, depth of field, shutter speed and composition.
The first type of photography I found out about was (Landscape Photography). This type of photography allows you to show scenery of a particular area of somewhere in the world
